North Shore Art Guild’s Mission
North Shore Art Guild was established in 1991 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation designed to assist artists at all levels and within all disciplines. It is our goal to develop a strong visual arts presence while using our talent as a force to better our community. Our mission is to promote arts and advancement in all areas of artistic endeavors. The Guild encourages exposure and growth through exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations and helpful “critiquing” given by seasoned artists. We invite all artists whatever level or medium, to join, learn and grow with the North Shore Art Guild.

Inspiring Our Community
The North Shore Art Guild was established in 1991 by dedicated artists who endeavored to promote the arts and inspire the community. By showcasing our seasoned artists and introducing our new and upcoming members to the community, our membership has grown to nearly 150 artists, all working in various mediums.

Members’ Work
North Shore Art Guild is proud to partner with the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook to bring you the Expressions Gallery. Located in the lobby of the hotel, the gallery brings our members’ work into the local community. Featuring new exhibits monthly, the gallery also donates a portion of sale proceeds to the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.
